She Says Electric Has New Management!

We are pleased to announce that in January we will begin working with MUSE CREATIVE and Sheri McConnell. For a long time we have been looking for a mentor who really gets what we are all about and is passionate about our vision. It was important for us (as it is in any business) to have people around us who not only love who we are and what we do, but also have experience in the industry. Sheri is just that person. Ken and I have actually known Sheri for many years, going way back to the days of HEATHERCLARCKBAND and beyond. It wasn’t till we were invited to provide worship at the National Vineyard Conference this year however, that we made the connection with her as Muse Creative.

Sheri has been doing event promotions, booking and management for many years for artists such as Greg Sczebel, David Ruis, Rik Leaf and many others. She also has extensive charity experience with organizations like Hope for the Nations and others. Her current charitable focus is called ART IS {HOPE}, whose objective is to engage artists from a variety of artistic mediums including: Music, Photography, Visual and Performing Arts, Fashion, and Media and Literary Arts. Their purpose is to ADVOCATE for “Children at Risk”, INFLUENCE art contemporaries to “champion” an HFTN cause, RAISE FUNDS for specific HFTN projects that the ART IS {HOPE} artist is championing, and SHOWCASE art which captures the untold stories of vulnerable children through a creative lens. One of my personal favorite projects related to ART IS {HOPE} is “Project AK47”, but I am spiraling off topic now.

Sheri and Muse Creative will be overseeing all aspects of booking, promotions, management and also helping with creative direction. You can contact Sheri by email at sheri@musecreative.ca or by phone 1-250-869-9266 .
Welcome to the SSE team Sheri.

Welcome

Hey there!

Welcome!

Derek, Ken, Ben and I are excited about the recent things that are happening with us and we’re hoping you’ll join us on this next leg of our journey.

She Says Electric is kicking off the new year with a renovated website and a fresh blog (as you can see). We’re going to be under new management starting in January – Muse Creative. But the biggest thing we want to do is to record a new album this year. We’ve got a full album’s worth of new tunes to share with the world and we’re itching to get started.

Now, that’s a lot of genesis sort of stuff, but we’re praying that doors continue to open for us and that we’ll get everything accomplished that we’ve got in our hearts to do. So if you are the praying kind, could you throw in a good word for us too? It would be very much appreciated!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!
